SIMS XV will take place in Manchester, one of Britain's most cosmopolitan cities, easy to reach and exciting to visit, with a wealth of attractions for delegates - museums, galleries, shops, cafes and restaurants, all just minutes from the venue.
The merger of UMIST and the Victoria University of Manchester in 2004 will create one of Europe’s most prestigious academic institutions.
This new university will provide the venue for the conference. The conference will take place in the Renold Building.
